In September, LRG acquired Dewhurst Lettings, a well-established lettings agent based in Swindon, which further strengthened its presence in the South West.
In October, LRG made three additional acquisitions to expand its London footprint. The largest of these was Portico, a 15-branch residential lettings and sales agency, with a strong reputation in the London market built on a knowledge-driven approach to property. Orchards of London and Thorgills, are also highly respected agencies based in West London, both of which have been operating for over a decade.
Earlier in the year, LRG completed the acquisitions of Guardian Residential Lettings, Gibbs Gillespie, Hill & Clark and EuroLet.
Matthew Light, Group Mergers and Acquisitions Director at LRG, commented: “It has been a very busy and exciting time for LRG, with eight acquisitions in the year-to-date. As we grow in size, welcoming many talented individuals, brands and branches into our fold, we are thrilled to be expanding our reach and growing our regional property services across the UK.”
Tom Shelford, partner at Bowmark Capital said: “LRG’s scale and digitally-enabled model underpin its position as the leading consolidator in the sector, with a track record of acquiring and integrating strategically valuable businesses. Its buy-and-build strategy has driven strong growth, as the company expands its range of services and network across the UK.”
