CSL manages the signalling for hundreds of thousands of intruder alarms located in commercial, retail and residential premises, and is the technology and service leader in the UK security communications market. This was an opportunity to help the company accelerate its growth in its core market and pursue new opportunities in adjacent sectors and international markets.

The result
During Bowmark’s period of investment, CSL doubled both its sales and profits and extended its product portfolio. The company expanded into new sectors such as telehealth, and new geographic regions including Ireland, Sweden and the Netherlands.
In 2016, CSL was sold to Norland Capital, ICONIQ Capital and RIT Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum.
