The initiative was co-founded by group managing director Simon Banks, who says: “The widening skills gap is pushing up salary costs to untenable levels.” The security industry, along with 100 other sectors, is forming its own Trailblazer framework curriculum for issue in 2016 to help close the gap.
Also co-sponsored by NSI, SSAIB and Skills for Security, Engineers of Tomorrow has already helped to place over 3,000 young people into careers. Bowmark backed the management buy-out of CSL DualCom in 2012.
