During our investment period, IWSR approximately trebled its revenue and profits. As a result of continued investment, the company expanded its suite of data and insight products to cover all significant geographies, product categories and sales channels in the $1.2 trillion global beverage alcohol market.
This included the launch of a Global Forecasting suite, offering clients a 10-year outlook into the future of the beverage alcohol market; an On-Trade Value product providing comprehensive analysis of prices in on-trade venues; an innovative consumer tracking intelligence product, BevTrac; and a monthly US state level data product, Navigator. This was supported by the development of an advanced, multi-functional technology platform through which all of its products are delivered.
In June 2025, Bowmark sold the company to WGSN, the world’s leading consumer trend forecaster and a portfolio company of Apax Partners.
